Laura was absolutely wonderful to work with. We both purchased and sold our home through her, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. While searching for our new home, we looked at many houses, and Laura understood that we were waiting for the right one. She was incredibly patient and always took the time to explain any potential issues she noticed in a property. We never felt rushed or pressured — she truly wanted us to find the perfect fit. When it came time to sell our home, Laura guided us on what updates would make the biggest impact. With little ones in the house (and lots of toys and mess!), she thoughtfully limited showings so they worked with our family’s schedule. She was respectful of our time and situation, which meant so much to us. Her recommendation on the sale price worked in our favor, and we received more than we anticipated. On the purchasing side, she helped us determine a strong and fair offer. When the sellers asked if we would go higher, she gave us honest guidance — explaining that our offer was solid, reminding us it was ultimately our decision, but recommending that we stand firm since it was already our highest and best. We followed her advice, and we got the house — and we absolutely love it! We are so thankful for her time, dedication, and expertise. Laura Nightingale is a top notch real estate agent. She has sold both of my parents’ houses (one four years ago, and one this year). She is extraordinarily capable, detail oriented, a great communicator, going above and beyond to get things right. She is also full of knowledge of the WNY area, both the housing market and with an extensive list of references for services needed in preparing a house for sale. One of her many specialties is helping the preparation and sale of houses of elderly homeowners, and offers an additional service to provide support in these situations, which is particularly helpful since we do not live in the area. We have been exceptionally fortunate because Laura skills and expertise have been extremely helpful since we don’t live in the area. She has been a lifesaver, as well as wonderful person to work with. I would engage Laura for any house sale or purchase.

Laura sold our mother's house in 2022, and just recently (Feb 2026) sold our father's house. We were super happy to work with her again after she did such an amazing job four years ago. She guided us through the whole process, found us all the right vendors to sell or donate furniture, and vendors to clean out the house and even do snow removal while the house sale was pending. She referred us to a CPA to help us with some issues. Laura got us a great price, after a big batch of offers. Throughout the whole process, she kept us in the loop via email, text, and phone, and was super responsive when we had questions. If you're looking to sell a house in WNY, talk to Laura: she's awesome.

I recently sold a home using Laura. I was a remotely located seller. Laura managed the process beautifully and handled all of the details without having to have me travel to the area. Selling a house is very stressful, more so if you are a senior citizen that has been in their house for decades and don’t have kids or relatives to help. Laura provided needed help and support, relieving much of the stress by using the resources and tips she has available. What we did not think of, she did. Our research had us much lower in pricing than Laura suggested. When it came time to actually list the house, Laura explained her pricing strategy to us; but, she said that we had to be comfortable with the price and that it was ultimately our decision. After listening, we took a leap of faith (we trusted her completely) and it paid off tremendously! All offers were well above asking price. We are very private people and she totally respected our thoughts and concerns. Laura was nothing but professional, caring, patient and dedicated to achieve the best results for us. I inherited two houses full of many years of accumulation that needed to be cleaned out and sold. My attorney suggested Laura Nightingale with MJ Peterson Real Estate. I called Laura, she looked at the houses and recommended two cleaning companies to remove everything, pull up the carpeting and filter the air from many years of cat odors. Laura listed the first house with a beautiful description and we accepted an offer very close to the asking price. There were a few glitches with the buyer just before closing that Laura was able to resolve. I was kept informed by TEXT and EMAIL the entire day. I was impressed with her professionalism and experience in the Real Estate market. I received several offers from buyers that did not want to use a realtor. I am happy I did not go that route.
